Bálint Botos, MRICS, CFA

Bálint earned his MSc in Economics from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with a specialization in Urban and Rural Development. He continued his professional education with financial studies at the CFA Institute (CFA Charter, 2012) and later completed executive management training at Harvard Business School (PLD, 2021/22).

After starting his career in residential property development, Bálint worked as a financial analyst and portfolio manager between 2009–2013, and later as an Investment Manager at Tippin Corporation (2014–2016). Between 2015–2019 he also provided property consulting services for the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

In 2014, together with Péter Németh, he co-founded Forestay Group, where he has been Managing Partner ever since. He also acts as CEO of Forestay Fund Management. Under his leadership, the Group today operates more than 400 student housing and hotel rooms and is developing over 600 rooms, including Marriott Moxy and Residence Inn projects. Forestay has also expanded into residential development, with its flagship project Villányi 11 delivering nearly 200 apartments at the foot of Gellért Hill, and a pipeline of 300–500 apartments planned annually thereafter.

Péter Balázs Németh, MBA, MRICS

Péter graduated as a certified architect from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, with scholarships in Denmark and Paris. He later obtained his MBA at the Central European University and Emory University Business School in Atlanta through a scholarship program.

He began his career as Portfolio Manager at Siemens Real Estate in Munich in 2005, then joined Tippin Corporation as Development Director in 2007. In 2014, together with Bálint Botos, he co-founded Forestay Group, where he has since served as Managing Partner.

With nearly two decades of international and domestic experience, Péter oversees the development strategy across the Group’s hospitality, student housing, and residential projects.
